Getting treated and reimbursed, driving legally, properly insuring your home and your family. Pick your situation, we'll take you to the right page.
In Luxembourg, your healthcare starts with the CNS: it reimburses a large part of your costs, as long as you send it your bills on time, and a supplementary health insurance covers part of the rest. When you're ill, you report your sick leave within a few days; in the evening or at the weekend, the on-call doctor takes over. For your car, it all starts with registration, followed by compulsory car insurance, the roadworthiness test and the vehicle tax. At home, home insurance and personal liability insurance cover you when damage happens.

Getting treated, getting reimbursed, and what happens when you can no longer work.

From registration to resale, driving legally in Luxembourg.

The insurance that covers you when damage happens, at your place or someone else's.
Every rule and every amount on these pages is checked against official Luxembourg sources: the CNS (ouvre dans un nouvel onglet), Guichet.lu (ouvre dans un nouvel onglet), the SNCA (ouvre dans un nouvel onglet) and the Commissariat aux assurances (ouvre dans un nouvel onglet). When a rule depends on the year, we tell you which one.
An honest limit: what we give you here are pointers, not personalised advice on your insurance policy. What your policy really covers is something your insurer or an adviser can tell you.
