If you've worked in Luxembourg, even for a few years, you're entitled to a pension from the CNAP, whether you still live here or not. It's calculated on your career and can't fall below the minimum pension if your career is long enough. Sometimes you can retire before 65, and if you're a cross-border worker, each country you've worked in pays you its share. Your pension also protects your family: a survivor's pension for your spouse or partner, a disability pension if you can no longer work.
